Dino Park, Nirimba

Recently crowned the Courier Mail’s most outstanding park in Queensland, this prehistoric themed playspace has play opportunities for children of all ages. With a huge dinosaur play structure, swings, an archaeological dinosaur sand dig, and plenty of space for the family to enjoy a day out, this playspace offers hours of fun.

Why we love it: Toilets, BBQ, Picnic Tables, close to other playgrounds!

Buderim Village Park, Buderim

With an opening party on 13 December, this park is sure to become a family favourite. The centrepiece is the custom Giants tower featuring Australian native birds. Stretching 6.5m into the sky with plenty of sensory play opportunities to explore, this play structure offers hours of fun. The play doesn’t stop there though with a toddler unit, hollow log, spinner bowl, swings, springers and seesaws adding to the richness of the park.

Why we love it: Close to shops, plenty of green space, seating for parents

Mooloolaba Foreshore

Mooloolaba Foreshore is home to the first Coromesh Net in Australia. The net spans over 22m in diameter and the bouncing and swaying of the net replicates the nearby ocean. Below the net there are a series of sensory experiences, such as dichroic plates, sound shakers, and membrane chill seats.

Why we love it: Close to the beach, lots of nearby facilities and restaurants, first in Australia!
