The playground at Ridgeview Narangba is a massive hit with the local community. Perfect for a family day out, the playground is filled with a range of activities suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
It is hard to miss the bright orange KOMPAN Play Unit from the carpark. It’s multi-levels, bright colours and endless play activities draw kids from afar. Play panels which can be played from both sides are perfect for a range of ages and abilities and provide the opportunity for parents to get involved and play along!
An ADA-approved ramp allows wheelchairs and walking frames to play alongside their friends and family. The ramp is fitted with play panels which develop social, cognitive, emotional and physical skills. Slides, swings, spinners, a learning play hut and a track ride are among other play items found within the playground.
For adults, state of the art fitness equipment encourages them to get fit and heathy while enjoying the great outdoors. With scalable resistance and a guiding digital application, the equipment is appropriate for fitness fanatics to first timers.
Leading play and fitness designers, Urban Play, collaborated with Saunders Havill Group and Satterley Property Group to create the incredible space for the Ridgeview and surrounding community.
Playground designer, Tobias Volbert said he cannot wait to spend the day here with his family.
“Running, sliding, climbing, jumping, swinging and gliding. This playground has it all.” said Mr. Volbert.
The new playground is located within the Ridgeview Estate in Narangba.
Inclusion was a priority in the design of the park, and for play equipment, pathway connections and embellishments. Park had to cater for a wide range of users for both the new Ridgeview community, as well as surrounding residents. The provision of open turf areas adjacent to both play and exercise equipment allows greater community interaction, including children’s kickabout and also an allowance for potential training sessions in the park;
