As part of the Berrinba Wetlands Precinct located in the heart of Logan City, Demieo Park was created to provide a high quality play destination servicing the region’s growing and vibrant community. Featuring a natural lagoon and permanently running creek, the Council’s vision was to create a landmark destination showcasing the surrounding natural landscape.
The Garden Tower piece was chosen because of its unique design and elevated viewing platform, seamlessly integrating within the existing natural environment. Providing unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape, the tower challenges sensory and motor skills through a dynamic series of climbing and sliding activities. The scale and height of the Garden Tower makes it easily identifiable from the street and has quickly become an important hub for the local community.
