Buderim Village Park
Buderim Village Park is now home to a custom and unique playground that is inspired by the local wildlife. A custom sensory tree tower stretches over 6.5m high into the sky and is bursting with play opportunities for all ages and abilities. Children can climb the dizzying heights of the tower and be rewarded with an incredible view out over the new playscape. Exiting the tower is even more rewarding with two slides and banister bars that offer an exhilarating journey back to the ground. The first of its kind in Queensland, the custom KOMPAN Treehouse has an array of sensory activities on the ground level such as a roller wall, turf membranes, swaying pods, optic illusion panels and hammocks. Other play elements in the playground are an inclusive Tipi Spinner, a Sand Play hut that encourages loose part and sensory play, a Lorikeet springer, swings, seesaw and magical log.
A big congratulations to all project partners involved – Sunshine Coast Regional Council, Disc Landscapes and KOMPAN Australia.
